DFDS with more capacity in Baltic

More sailings on routes between Klaipeda and Germany, Sweden and Denmark.

Referring to a stable growth on their routes between Klaipeda and Germany, Sweden and Denmark, DFDS Seaways has decided to increase freight and passenger capacity on the routes so they will be able to offer passengers and freight customers the space, which they require.

On the Klaipeda-Karlshamn route, DFDS will enter Patria Seaways as the third vessel from 1 April. The vessel will perform two round trips per week in addition to the current daily departures. The number of round trips can be further extended to three if required.

On the Klaipeda-Kiel Route, DFDS will maintain the extra weekly departure, which they introduced recently due to the number of additional Russian lorries. This means the carrier will continue to offer daily departures based on a fixed schedule with departures in the evening from both ports arriving in the afternoon following day.
