Swedish Orient Line (SOL) has announced that it will temporarily offer an eighth sailing on the Gothenburg (Sweden)-Zeebrugge (Belgium) route. The shipping company recently registered volume increases on the connection, and reacted by providing an additional ferry in both directions.
At present, the vessels “Schieborg” and “Slingeborg”, each with a capacity of 2,600 lane metres, and the “Ark Forwarder” with 2,700 lane metres, ply the route between Gothenburg and Zeebrugge. The
transit time is around 34 hours.
SOL has combined its northern Finland connection with the Gothenburg–Zeebrugge sailing so that it can provide the eighth service in both directions.[…]
